This project is a major undertaking for the university and for NCE with over $90 million in work on the project. For PCPs portion, the original intent of Christman and U of M was to award two interiors’ packages to two separate contractors. PCP, with the efforts of three estimators and the PCP Executive Management team, spent well

over three months estimating and negotiating with Christman and U of M to get all five buildings (both packages) into one contract for PCP.

PCP will install over 2.4 million square feet of drywall across the project’s five main housing buildings. PCP will also install specialty ceilings that include Armstrong Linear Blades as well as various other specialty ceilings.

The project is well underway over 58% complete. PCP has over 120 workers on site, performing work in all 5 buildings.
