The Vanguard Hotel is an upscale boutique hotel across from the U of M Medical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. The project sits on a very busy, high traffic corner (Glen and Catherine Avenues) which forced all trades involved to get very creative with stocking, rubbish extraction and overall construction. For example, our project foreman was framing and sheathing the exterior walls inside the building and standing them up at the perimeter as panels. Prior to standing them up, the water proofer sealed the joints and windows. This eliminated the need for PCP to utilize swing stages all together as well as giving the waterproofing contractor a head start on their work!

PCP and NSC was able to work with our partners at Colasanti to finally bring this long-awaited project to completion on time and on budget!
