The State of Michigan Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) has begun the construction of a brand new 264 bed, 400,000 square foot Psychiatric Hospital. The facility will have two patient wings, a two story common area and a clinical wing. Pontiac Ceiling and Partition has been contracted by the Christman Company to perform both the Exterior Enclosure package and the Interior Drywall package. The Exterior package consists of a Panelized Cold Formed Framing System, Air and Vapor Barrier, Slab Edge Firestopping and Temporary Shrink wrap enclosure. The Interior Package consists of Lt. Gauge Framing, Drywall, Insulation, Firestopping, Acoustical Ceilings and Metal Security Ceilings.

This new, state of the art facility is slated to open in June of 2026.
