The construction of an Amazon Distribution Center in Shelby Township dubbed Project Millennium is a 1 million square foot fulfillment center at a cost of $90 million.  It is expected to create 1000 new jobs.  A ribbon-cutting ceremony was scheduled for the Spring of 2019.
