Project Name: University of Michigan - Hill Auditorium

The U of M Hill Auditorium underwent extensive renovation and restoration to their original conventional plaster installations. PCP provided for the plaster removal, patching, remake of cornice work and appliqués, as well as spray fireproofing above the main dome ceiling. A scaffold encompassed the entire auditorium reaching up over 100’ in order to provide a safe floor for the plaster work to take place.

As for the fireproofing operation, PCP had to climb through the catwalks, above the main floor ceiling, to provide fireproofing to the roof structure above, all while taking care not to damage the existing main floor plaster ceilings.
